No frills, just get your delicious takeout and go. The egg rolls and chicken teriyaki are something special. The food tastes like the chefs are in a good mood when they're cooking it.
UPDATE 2023 - The food quality here has dropped a little bit. Not a whole lot, but I haven't been as impressed of happy with it since after COVID-19. This seems to be a common thing for many restaurants. Not sure if they lost staff or changed something due to skyrocketing food costs. It's not horrible by any means, just no longer my #1 favorite as it used to be. I'm also very picky with my Chinese food, so you may not feel the same way. It's still worth trying it out as far as I'm concerned. ORIGINAL REVIEW I'll start by saying that I'm rather picky about my Chinese food. I've had it from tons of places all over. This place is definitely in my top 5. The number one thing I love about Asia Garden is the fact that they use all white meat chicken in their dishes. The status quo is often dark meat for dishes like sesame chicken or general Tso's. Every dish here is white meat. That means no cartilage, no fat, no grossness. I love that. Sesame chicken is one of my favorite dishes, but it can often be ruined by low quality chicken. All the ingredients always taste fresh, and if you want, you can sit there and watch them make your food. No hidden kitchen. As a firefighter I've been in many restaurants' kitchens during and after hours. I've almost always found something horrible hidden. When every customer can see your kitchen you can't do this. There's only one thing that I don't like: the eggrolls. I don't know what it is but they're not very good. But that isn't enough to take away a star. And you don't need to get one with the dinner combo plates, you have a choice of appetizer (they're a fantastic deal by the way.) Give them a try. I recommend the dinner combo plates, lots of food for the price and you can get lo mein instead of rice. I don't like how rice gets the next day after it's been refrigerated. It's a home run as far as I'm concerned.
For the Cape, this is one of the better Chinese food restaurants. The pork-fried rice is very good. The chicken wings are excellent. Very good service. The restaurant is geared towards take-out very with only a few small tables.
Great place, I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and have always loved it. It’s my family’s top place for Chinese food and we have never had a bad experience throughout the years. The food is fast, delicious, and well priced. The service is great as well and I highly recommend if you live in the Sandwich area or are visiting.
I grew up in a predominantly Chinese and Japanese neighborhood in California. Is this the most authentic Chinese food I've ever had? No. But, you know what it is? Good food, huge portions served with a smile, and at an excellent price. We order two combination dinner plates for the two of us and that gets us a very large dinner plus lunch for the next day for about $33 after tip. I've literally spent more on a single salad in Woods Hole. This place pumps out good food and is our go-to when we want something a little different from the usual cape fare, especially during the winter. Keep it up!
